Guided tour/tour

We leave the car park and immediately walk to Halterner See, which was created almost 100 years ago as a large drinking water reservoir. After a short stretch along the wooded banks, we reach the River Stever and then the Hullerner reservoir. Even though both lakes were artificially created in the Hohe Mark Nature Park, our circular route is characterised by forest, green banks and tranquillity. We reach the Stever again and thus Lake Haltern. Next to the Stever, the Mühlenbach stream feeds the three square kilometre lake, which officially became Haltern am See in 2001. If you wish, you can end the hike with a boat trip lasting just under an hour (optional, approx. €15). Of course, there is coffee, cake or a sausage on board.

Please note: weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, rucksack and drinks

Meeting point: Haltern am See: Hikers' car park 35/ Hohe Niemen, Hullerner Straße (approx. 600 m west of the hotel and Seehof bus stop)

You will be informed of the exact times when you book the tour.
