On the last weekend (Sunday) in June, the Strohsemmelfest takes place in Lemgo, which has been attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the old Hanseatic town for over 20 years.
At this large city festival, many stalls offer everything to do with the famous Lemgo straw roll.

Browse, store and marvel in the Abbey Garden, not far from the Marketplace Lounge. Artists and craftspeople demonstrate, exhibit and offer their wares.
Oldtimer tractors and utility vehicles (Saturday and Sunday)
"Die Lipper" - friends of old tractors, haulers and utility vehicles from Lemgo exhibit at the Ostertor.
Sales open Sunday
The approx. 200 attractive stores in the city center open for Sunday shopping from 1:00 to 6:00 pm and invite you to stroll and store.
The STADTBUS runs free of charge from 1:00 pm (1:15 pm, line 5) to the city center, last return trip from "Treffpunkt" 6:15 pm (5:45 pm, line 5). The STADTBUS also runs free of charge on Saturday!
Relocation of the weekly market
This Saturday, the weekly market will be relocated to the "Neues Tor" parking lot between Leopoldstraße and Echternstraße.
