The Lebanese restaurant in the city centre impresses in three ways: taste, hospitality and price. You could almost overlook the inconspicuous restaurant at Kölner Straße 61 - and you would definitely be missing out.

Don't be fooled by the somewhat old-fashioned but stylish oriental look with orange walls. Visitors can expect a sumptuous selection of exquisitely prepared dishes typical of the country. If you can't decide between creamy hummus, spicy mtabbal - an aubergine puree - or the parsley salad to start with, you can simply go for the mixed starter plate. The choice for the main course doesn't get any easier afterwards. The view into the open kitchen, where the delicious dishes are conjured up with succulent meat, home-made chips and crunchy vegetables, doesn't make it any better. The recommendation against all odds: The shawarma plate with spicy marinated and tender-juicy lamb slices.
