Information for cyclists
Münsterland is an ideal travel and excursion destination for cyclists, as it has a 4,500 km long, well signposted cycle path network. Borken, located in the lowlands, is also connected to this network. Various cycle and themed routes invite you to cycle and there are many exciting and interesting things to discover along the way.

Paid parking spaces near the Borkener Stadtpark are available on the street "Remigiusstraße 20". Other public, chargeable parking facilities are located in Borken town centre. There is a pay and display car park on the street "Am Boltenhof".
On weekdays (Mondays to Fridays) from 10.00 - 16.00, parking is subject to a charge.
Journey to the city park
By car:
The Borken Stadtpark can be reached by car via the A31 (Oberhausen-Emden). Exit Borken, journey time approx. 15 minutes.
By bus/train:
Borken is the terminus of the Essen-Bottrop-Dorsten-Borken railway line.
The city park is approx. 1 km from the station.
Take buses R21, R51 or R74. Get off at the "Wilbecke" stop. Walking distance approx. 2 minutes.
