Historic mill | Dreisbachmühle

In 1583, Johann Zimmermann von Frohnhofen was the tenant of the mill in the "Drießbach", which belonged to the Dukes of Arenberg. In 1794, the tenant Johannes Helten paid nine malters of grain, a pig of at least 150 pounds and a chicken as annual rent. The Ducal Arenberg Mill was still in operation until the end of the 19th century.

The historic mill is located in the romantic Dreisbach Valley and is a waypoint on many wonderful hiking routes.
