There are also smugglers' trails to the neighbouring Netherlands.
The Heimathaus Gemen and the Ackerbürgerhaus Gemen are also connected to the Münsterland cycle path network. At the Jugendburg Gemen, in the immediate vicinity of the Heimathaus, is the next junction with the No. 74, which can be the starting point for 3 cycle tours: 100 Castles Route (West Course); Flamingo Route; Hohe Mark Nature Park Route.
