Church

St Walburga's Church in Ramsdorf is an important historical building in the Münsterland region. The imposing brick church characterises the townscape with its striking tower, which is a landmark visible from afar. Originally built in the 12th century, the church has undergone several extensions and remodelling over the centuries. The artistically designed stained glass windows and the elaborate vaulted ceiling in the interior are particularly worth seeing. The rich furnishings include a baroque high altar as well as historical carvings and sculptures. The church is not only a place of faith, but also an impressive testimony to regional architecture and a popular destination for those interested in cultural history.
