This 40-kilometre circular tour connects two of the most beautiful medium-sized towns in Lippe with important
histories.

As different as Detmold and Lemgo are, they are united by the cultural history of Lippe. Detmold was first mentioned as a people's court Theotmalli in 783 and is still home to the district court today. Lemgo, one of the oldest trading towns in Lippe, was built in 1190 at an important crossroads of important medieval trade routes.
