This cycle tour in the Eifel is perfect for you if you are looking to slow down! Discover the picturesque courses of the Swist and Erft rivers, away from the traffic and with a flat topography. The route takes you past fields and orchards that reflect the agricultural importance of the region. In addition to the idyllic scenery, special highlights await you: the moated castles of the North Eifel. On the tour, we pass three impressive castles, including Kleinbüllesheim Castle, Kriegshoven Castle, both of which are privately owned, and Heimerzheim Castle, which is used as an event location. The magnificent castles are also worth a look from the outside, even if they cannot be visited.
The uniform signposting system consists of red junction signs and information signs at all important junctions and crossroads, providing a perfect orientation system along the way.
