Approximately 2-hour guided tour through the half-timbered village of Monreal with the Lion Monument and the Four-Gabled House as well as up to the ruins of the Lion Castle.

The approximately 2-hour tour begins at the Lion Monument and first the small alleys and hidden corners in the village center are explored. Afterwards, the path leads high up to the ruins of the Löwenburg with a fantastic view over Monreal. Here you can learn all about the Franconian heritage, the Counts of Virneburg, Monreal in the Middle Ages, the Monreal craftsmen and much more. The ascent and descent to the Löwenburg is via hiking trails, so sturdy shoes are required.
