Feasting and hiking: That goes together perfectly! Experience a varied afternoon in the nature reserve with our llamas and strengthen yourself in between with a delicious crepe or a freshly baked waffle. Our two-hour gourmet hike begins and ends directly below the castle ruins of Schönecken. After a brief introduction, during which you will get to know the llamas, we will start our tour of the Schönecker Switzerland nature reserve. Right at the beginning we hike down into the valley of the Altburgbach. Orchards and the dark silhouettes of the juniper bushes accompany us. Then we climb the ridge "Op Ischt" and let our gaze wander to the High Fens. A little later we dive into the beech forest and come to a hidden clearing where the gentians bloom in late summer. We follow the Schalkenbach on its way down to the Nims and after about an hour's hike we reach the "Nice Corner" creperie, which is located directly on the river bank. Here we can choose between delicious sweet and savory crêpes, freshly baked waffles or even a delicious bratwurst. We sit comfortably together for about half an hour. Meanwhile, our llamas are grazing on the adjacent meadow. Then it goes up again to Schönecker Schweiz and the ruins of Schönecken Castle. After another hour of hiking we reach our stable again. Here we say goodbye to our faithful companions, the llamas. Included: Two-hour hike with llamas "gourmet package" with a crepe, a waffle or a bratwurst and a drink.

What to bring: Hiking shoes with firm, non-slip profile soles, daypack, drinking bottle with water, rainproof clothing, hat (depending on the season for sun, rain or cold; please no umbrella)
Requirements: Average level of fitness required (total distance around 7 km, pure hiking time around 2 hours, difference in altitude 150 m).
Minimum age for driving an animal: 10 years. Participation under 18 years only when accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, dogs cannot be brought along.
