A gem of a place to meet
On selected weekends, the courtyard of the Alte Feuerwache (old fire station) on Ebertplatz is transformed into a meeting place for flea market enthusiasts and explorers. What makes this flea market special is its regional roots: only private individuals sell their finds here. Among old books, cameras, furniture and crockery, you will find not only objects with a history, but also the spirit of community. Without the influence of professional dealers, an authentic atmosphere prevails, characterised by mindfulness and respectful interaction.
The market is rounded off by a coffee stand with homemade cakes, which creates space for conversation and encounters – whether to haggle over a bargain or simply enjoy the moment.
