For many years now, young and old have been celebrating the popular major event - the Bierbrunnenfest in Lübbecke. From August 15 - 17, 2024, Lübbecke's event, which is known far beyond the city limits, will enter a new round.
In 2024, the three-day city festival will once again feature a large stage on the market square as well as the additional "Hopfengarten" and "Backstube Open Air" stages in the pedestrian zone.
What would the beer fountain festival be without the traditional barrel tapping on the day of the beer fountain? Visitors can experience this once again on Sunday, August 17 at 11 a.m. in the large beer garden on the market square when Gambrinus, the patron saint of brewers, Mayor Frank Haberbosch and the Barre family get down to business. The Oberbauerschaft village band and the Lübbecke Schützenmusikkorps will provide musical accompaniment for the morning and afternoon. At 1 pm, the participants of the bicycle rally will also be welcomed.
Organizers and retailers invite you to a Sunday open for business from 1 pm to 6 pm in Lübbecke's city centre. Lübbecke Marketing will be presenting a colorful children's program in Lange Straße and Bäckerstraße.
