Francis Alÿs – Kids Take Over

From 12 April to 3 August 2025, the Museum Ludwig ‘s exhibition “Francis Alÿs - Kids Take Over” will offer an extraordinary treat that focuses on the creativity and individuality of children.
Video projections of the Children's Games, in which Francis Alÿs shows playing children from all over the world, form the monumental prelude. A highlight of the exhibition is the symbolic handover of the largest exhibition space to children from Cologne: 50 schoolchildren aged 8 to 13 are designing their own children's museum and a games trail.
