+++Start of registration: 17.03.2025+++
The Forthbach is the green ribbon that runs through the landscape of Langenberg and connects different habitats with each other. A lot has happened here in recent years: extensive renaturation measures have ensured that the stream can flow in its natural rhythm again. Side arms and still water zones now provide a protected habitat for numerous animal and plant species. Pollarded willows, dead wood and near-natural bank structures make the Forthbach a small but valuable natural paradise. Discover on this hike how nature is reclaiming the stream - and why such renaturations are so important for our environment.
