Floral designs play an important role in porcelain painting. This requires detailed botanical designs, which the porcelain painters often create themselves. This course will focus on such depictions. You will need pencils, a piece of paper and a magnifying glass to open up a wonderful world to the inquiring eye! The aim is to get to know the plant as a whole, from the root to the flower, and thus to examine its proportions, special features and plastic representation in light and shadow. We will take a close look at flowers and herbs, draw them and color them with colored pencils.
