Noel Araya: Eritrean music on the piano

On Sunday, 29 June 2025 at 17:30, FARB Borken invites you to a special concert together with the Eritrean pianist and music student Noel Araya. In his arrangements, Araya transfers traditional Eritrean melodies to the classical piano and gives them a new form of expression. The programme includes both traditional folk music and modern Eritrean pop music as well as pieces from the country's various ethnic traditions.

The concert begins at 5.30 pm in the FARB hall with a short introduction by the artist. It offers the opportunity to get to know the music and culture of Eritrea through the language of music. The concert is part of the "Young Classical Music" series, with which the FARB promotes young talent.
