The route stretches over approx. 9 km and leads through the picturesque landscape from Heiligenkirchen to the majestic Kreishaus. On your way, you will experience the fascinating natural scenery of the region, starting at the idyllic Friedrichshöhe, along the historic Am Rautenberg, through the tranquil Teutholzweg and the charming Maiweg, all the way to the relaxing Kurpark. Be inspired by the breathtaking views from the cliffs.
The meeting point for this nature experience is the train station in Detmold at 8:45 am. The hike starts conveniently at 8:58 a.m. on bus 701. This event is ideal for anyone who wants to leave everyday life behind and enjoy nature to the full. The experience ends at the Kreishaus, where the return journey on bus 702 begins at 13:30.
A culinary highlight awaits participants at the Café Unerwartet, which is located directly in the Kreishaus. Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere invite you to linger. Experienced Uwe Petersen will lead the hike and enrich you with exciting stories and insights about the region.
