Born in the Netherlands in 1972, artist Linda Molenaar lives and works in Amsterdam. She has been an artist in residence in South Korea, Denmark and Norway. Linda Molenaar says of her work: "What I want to show in my work is not entertainment or reactionism, but stillness. I am often literally in the work itself, but the viewer has no direct contact with me personally. My aim is to confront the viewer with the idea that man is in a relationship with or to an animal.
