Description:
The legendary British secret agents George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender) and his wife Kathryn (Cate Blanchett) suddenly find themselves at the center of a political and private storm when Kathryn is suddenly accused of treason. The background to this is top-secret software whose code has been leaked. Kathryn appears to be a potential perpetrator. For George, who actually believes he is unconditionally loyal to both his wife and his country, a merciless conflict erupts within him. In order to bring the truth to light, he fakes a dinner party together, to which he invites the other suspects. While he tries to uncover the origin of the violent accusations against his wife in this exceptional situation, he must decide where his loyalties really lie - with the woman he loves or with the country he has sworn to serve.
