Description:
Paris in the 1930s: Charles Aznavour (Tahar Rahim) discovers his passion for the stage at an early age. As the son of Armenian immigrants, his starting conditions are anything but favorable. With no money and an atypical voice for the chanson of the time, nobody believed in his dream at first, but Charles refused to be discouraged. Driven by unbridled ambition and unwavering talent, he fought his way onto the French music scene. The turning point in his career came when he came to the attention of the famous Edith Piaf (Marie-Julie Baup), who opened doors to the world of fame for him. But during his rise, Charles is faced with the difficult question of how much he wants to sacrifice for his success - and whether he has to leave behind the people who have accompanied him along the way.
