The café and pastry shop can be found in the center of Schönecken. The historic castle town of Schönecken with its approx. 1500 inhabitants is nestled in the valley of the Nims, above which the ruins of Schönecken Castle are enthroned.
"Bella Costa" or "Clara Costa" has been watching over events in the Nimstal for around 800 years. The current local community Schönecken, affectionately called "Flecken" by its inhabitants, is the amalgamation of the two districts of Schönecken and Wetteldorf.
Since the Middle Ages, the market and castle town has been shaped by its diverse artisan traditions, clubs and customs.
