The family business in the Vulkaneifel houses around 11,000 hens in barn housing and 250 hens in free-range conditions and is a member of the regional brand Eifel. The animal-friendly husbandry and the quality of the product are always at the forefront. It is not without reason that since 2010 the feed has been switched and since then genetically modified poultry feed has been avoided.
You can taste that too. With a lot of love, the poultry products are produced and are available in the farm shop. Homemade fresh egg noodles, apple juice, goat cheese, gift baskets, gift vouchers, and decorative items, as well as honey and spirits, round off the diverse offer from our own and regional production.
The delicacies from the Janshen poultry farm are also available in Daun at their own poultry shop. At the weekly markets in Ulmen, Wittlich, Cochem, Gerolstein, and Traben-Trarbach, the Janshens are regularly represented and offer eggs from barn and free-range housing, fresh poultry, and noodles.
