Welcome to the Strandhaus am Hengsteyse! Our goal is to become a place to relax, strengthen and experience. We want to bring life to our town and score with good food, service and events. Enjoy your time out by the lake and let us spoil you.

The Strandhaus am Hengsteysee is a place with 4 basic components. Restaurant, Hostel, Beach & Events. Restaurant: We offer delicious food and drinks all year round, from morning to evening. We start in the morning with a breakfast buffet during the week or a brunch at the weekend. At lunchtime we offer coffee & cake. Our cake is prepared by a local patisserie. At lunch and dinner time there is a wide variety of dishes. Something for everyone.

In spring 2024 we will open the most modern beach area in NRW! A footbridge leading from the beach house onto the lake will connect the shore with the beach house. From wild Abi parties on the lake to concerts and dream weddings on the sand, we will then be able to offer you an even more beautiful ambience.

Events:
Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, confirmation or corporate event, you're in good hands with us! We not only have the best view in town, but also the most modern technology for you! Music, lighting, microphones and internet transmission are all standard with us. Our state-of-the-art touchscreen TV enables all the functions that a smooth, perfect presentation requires

The Strandhaus is situated on the outskirts of Hagen in a quiet and idyllic location. As a guest, you can look forward to an enchanting view of Lake Hengesteysee and enjoy your meal with a
with a cool drink. A quiet atmosphere is also guaranteed by the location.
The road with little traffic leading to the beach house leads directly to our own car park. The bus stop "Südufer Hengstey" is located 30 metres from our main entrance, so you can easily reach us by public transport.
