With its water course, the St. Josef Grabeskirche burial church in Aachen...
... has its own particular stillness. In 1894, the Grabeskirche church was planned and built as the religious centre of the Ostviertel quarter by Franz Langenberg. Since 2006, it has been used as a burial place for urns, and now functions as a burial church. The brick building still dominates the former workers’ district in Aachen today.
