Aachener Wald forest

Want to get out of the city and into the green? Then take a trip to the Aachener Wald forest!

The Aachener Wald to the south of the city offers many options for a stroll or hike with your family or a sporty outing for two, with a large number of different trails. A short detour to Belgium or the Netherlands is also possible from the Aachener Wald, which stretches along the state borders with the two countries. Overall, there are six signposted forest hiking trails of different lengths, from around 3 kilometres to over 5 kilometres. They are marked in different colours.
