    The Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche was built according to the design by Josef Buchkremer, and was consecrated in 1902. It is a cross-shaped, three-aisled basilica. Due to the restricted building space, no other form was possible on the site. Architecturally, the church is composed of elements from the German and French High Gothic period.
