Kerstenscher Pavillon

The Kerstensche Pavillon is situated on the Aachener Lousberg hill.

Although the pavilion, which was designed by Johann Josef Couven in the 18th century, was originally built as a garden house for a rich patrician family, in 1905, the decision was made to relocate it, grilles, outside staircase, wall fountain and all, to the Lousberg hill. The sloping site fits the architectural concept of the building perfectly, which creates a harmonious whole with the Lousberg.
