Park/gardens

When scrap yards turn into rose gardens and desolate industrial wastelands develop into local recreational oases, then you have arrived in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

The parks, which extend over more than seven kilometres and were created for the State Garden Show in 1992, offer attractions for the whole family. Whether you come alone, with friends or with children: Look forward to a full, eventful day.

Whether ponds, fountains, sculptures, show and teaching gardens, playgrounds, art and sound objects, castles, museums in historic water towers, unique cultural sites or extensive cycling and walking paths - everyone will quickly find their personal MüGa favourite place here. From 4 May to 15 October, passers-by can use the public toilet containers at the Stadthallen car park on Bergstraße.
