LOCAL - DIGITAL - GENIAL: At the corner of Blessenstätte, Dalkestraße and Kirchstraße, Gütersloh City Library takes on the role of the entrance portal to the city center.

Gütersloh City Library is a non-commercial place for analog and digital information, education and encounters. With a collection of more than 150,000 media - including a wide range of digital offerings - almost 200,000 visitors a year and seven school media libraries, it is one of the city's most popular educational and cultural venues. On 3,400 square meters, there are numerous event, conference and exhibition facilities and plenty of space for learning, reading and relaxing. Dedicated experts answer questions on media literacy and research. As a "place of ideas by and for people", the city library's services are aimed at all age groups, with the aim of strengthening opportunities for participation in education, culture and social life.
