There's lots of fun for young and old explorers at the Ems Adventure World with adventure garden in the Ems spring town of Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. Try it out and join in!

  • Hold your feet in the North Sea,
  • fly over the Ems,
  • play a digital Ems quiz,
  • get to know Ems originals
  • and take part in a rally...

What do schnapps distillers, orange beaver teeth and noses have to do with the Ems? What is a beach in the middle of the Senne doing? The Ems Adventure World brings exciting natural, cultural and historical features to life in digital and analog form. Fun and excitement are guaranteed in the Ems Adventure Garden and the small indoor adventure course in the old vicarage.

A special offer is the overnight accommodation in the Ems Adventure World under the motto "Sleeping in the old vicarage". Modern, but with a nostalgic flair, you can spend the night above the indoor adventure course in the center of Stukenbrock-Senne. Start your cycle tour on the Ems Cycle Path rested and relaxed with lots of new impressions!

It is only 1.8 km from the Ems Adventure World to the source of the Ems in the Moosheide nature reserve in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock via the Ems Adventure Path with adventure stations. Continuing along the "Senner Horses" to the Ems Information Center, the 5.2 km circular hiking trail takes you back to the Ems Adventure World.

If you want a great souvenir of your visit, you can use one of the 18 SHS selfie points here. Simply stand on it as indicated by the feet in the template and take your selfie!

***Note on accessibility***

The Ems Adventure World has been tested for accessibility and is also a great destination for guests with walking disabilities and wheelchair users.

For the benefit of all, the following house rules apply in the Ems Adventure World, which set out some "rules of the game" for young and old. Please be fair and follow the rules below:

1. access only in street clothes - swimwear belongs in the outdoor pool. Please dress yourself and your children as if you were going shopping.
2. the accompanying persons or supervisors are solely responsible for the supervision and care of children and not the employees of the Ems-Erlebniswelt.
3. we would like to point out that our employees have no medical training. In emergencies, they are authorized to call the emergency services first and then inform the parents or guardians.
4. bathing is not permitted. Playing and splashing around with the play equipment is of course permitted.
5. the use of the games, including the water games, is at your own risk.
6. ball games and cycling are not permitted - bike racks and a do-it-yourself repair kit are available for your bikes in case of emergency.
7. please refrain from barbecuing and listening to music and the radio. Please be considerate of your neighbors, especially at lunchtime from 12 noon to 3 pm.
8. the use of the adventure garden as a sunbathing lawn and for sunbathing is prohibited. Please use the benches in the regional garden and the boulders by the watercourse.
9. bringing and consuming alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
10. please dispose of your garbage in the garbage can. Please take diapers back with you.
11. dogs (and other animals) must be kept on a lead and are not allowed in the water for reasons of hygiene - a water bowl is available for your furry friends at the entrance to the indoor course.
12. those who cause damage to the inventory of the Ems Adventure World (intentionally or through carelessness) are liable for this.
The house rules are exercised by the employees of Ems-Erlebniswelt. The instructions of the Ems-Erlebniswelt team must be followed. In the event of gross violations of the house rules or for other reasons, visitors may be banned from the Ems-Erlebniswelt.

We ask for your understanding of these "rules of the game" and wish everyone lots of fun at Ems-Erlebniswelt!
