Historische Fachwerkhäuser an der Kleinen Straße

If you are interested in historic buildings in the Rheda district, the "Kleine Straße" is the place to be. The pretty half-timbered houses are strung together like pearls on a necklace. One of the most beautiful is certainly the house at number 11. Clas Jörgen zum Recks had his fathers' house rebuilt in 1734. The original building dates back to 1620.
For many years, the premises housed a lovingly run linen weaving museum.
