    Experience a climbing park - make your leisure time active!

    Breathe in the mountain air, enjoy family fun, be active with friends or colleagues - whatever your reason for visiting the climbing park, a very special nature experience awaits young and old in the magnificent setting of one of the oldest tree populations in Europe! At the foot of the Hermann monument near Detmold, there are six courses of varying difficulty with more than 80 climbing stations to conquer, with many a "stirrup" leading up to a height of 12 meters! And regardless of whether it's a wobbly Bermuda bridge or a speedy ride on the zip wire - in the varied world of ropes, trees and platforms, first-time climbers will get their money's worth just as much as experienced climbers
    From a height of 130 cm, you can slip into the climbing harness. Three Bambini courses await the youngest climbers, where children from the age of 3 and up to a height of 130 cm can gain their first climbing experience equipped with a helmet and harness.

    The climbing park is currently on winter break!
    The new season will start on 22.03.2024.

    As a rule, the climbing park season in Detmold and Bielefeld lasts from the first Saturday in April to the first Sunday in November.
    Opening hours during the season:

    - on Fridays from 1 p.m.
    - on Saturdays & Sundays from 10 a.m.
    - on public holidays and bridge days from 10 a.m.
    - during the NRW vacations always Tuesday to Sunday

    (last start time 5 p.m., from mid-September three hours before dusk)

    Days off: Monday
