A landmark of the town of Enger that is recognizable from afar

The picnic area at the Liesbergmühle in Enger invites you to enjoy a picnic during your cycle tour. Situated on a hill, it offers a beautiful vantage point surrounded by the monumental ensemble of the windmill, the motor house and the half-timbered cottage. The Liesbergmühle, owned by the town of Enger, ceased operations in 1960. It was built in 1756 during the reign of Frederick the Great to supply the surrounding population with flour. The engraving "FR 1756" on the mill still bears witness to this date. The so-called mill days are held several times a year. The mill is then opened to visitors and the grinder is also put into operation to grind grain into flour. Since its renovation in 2001/2002, the mill has been in working order again.
