Events such as the Minden May & Autumn Fair, as well as the Oktoberfest and the Reenactor Fair take place here.

There is also a camper van site with an electricity and waste disposal station.

In the summer months, water lovers can relax and swim at the adjacent Weser beach. A drink or two is also provided here.
