Church

The center of Herzebrock is the neo-Gothic parish church of St. Christina from the late 15th century, which was extended in 1900/1901.

To the north, it closes the ring of buildings around the churchyard with buildings from the 17th to 20th centuries. A gateway from the 17th century provides access to the churchyard from Uthofstraße.

A remarkable crucifixion group from the first half of the 18th century stands on the church square. It is attributed to the Münster sculptor Johann Wilhelm Gröninger.

North of the churchyard are the buildings of Herzebrock Abbey, which was secularized in 1803. Another archway leads to the monastery courtyard, which is flanked by two buildings built in simple Baroque style: the convent house on the left and the residence for the priest and procurator on the right. The former residence for the lay sisters (now the parish community center) also belonged to the convent buildings adjacent to the church tower.
