The St. John Nepomuk Church is located directly in the center of Hövelhof, at the main intersection.
In 1706, the then Prince-Bishop Franz Arnold von Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht had the first parish church built on the square in front of the Prince-Bishop's hunting lodge. Today's church is the fourth parish church in Hövelhof and was built between 1977 and 1979. The tower of the third Hövelhof parish church has been preserved. The church has a cruciform floor plan. The altar forms the exact center of the building. The church is designated as an open cycle path church and is located directly on the popular Ems cycle path. www.radwegekirchen.de
