Stunning views and any amount of fun right in the middle of a beautiful natural setting

Ever looked at a bridge from below? In the Brückenpark Müngsten, at the foot of Germany’s highest railway bridge, you can gaze up in awe at the high arch.

Highlight: Germany's highest railway bridge

Germany's highest railway bridge has spanned the Wupper valley for more than 125 years. And despite its height of 107 metres and length of almost 500 meters, it really doesn’t appear to be that big. More delicate and gently floating. An impressive sight and a great photo opportunity!

The Brückenpark – enigmatically beautiful

Not up high, but directly around you, there is plenty to do between wide grassy areas and shady trees. The play area and exercise trail with a curved slide, climbing net and sky ladder is perfect for young and old alike. The Müngsten puzzle combines art and culture. There are ten puzzles on steel plates the answers to which can be found in the park.

Don’t walk across the Wupper, glide across it

Fancy a real adventure? Then don't miss the unique transporter bridge! It will carry you and your family 64 metres above the river Wupper to the other side. But you’ll have to put your back into it because it works like a trolley, by muscle power only. But don't worry, staff will be on hand to help you out!

Haus Müngsten – the perfect place for a nice break

Snack bar, bistro and restaurant with beautiful terraces right on the river Wupper. Rest and recuperation are guaranteed at Haus Müngsten. Ever present, the magnificent view of the Müngsten Bridge is reflected in the huge glass panes of the modern industrial design building.

Tip: The best place to start your visit to the Brückenpark is Haus Müngsten. Here you will find all the important information you need to find your way around.
