On a white hill in snowy forests, the wintersports area of Blockhaus-Belmicke is to be found in the Bergisches Land. Not far from the major cities on the Rhine and Ruhr, offerings ranging from a toboggan run to cross-country skiing trails await wintersports enthusiasts.
The Blockhaus-Belmicke cross-country district offers a wide range of options for all levels of performance. The trail in the village of Blockhaus is suitable for beginners, the 15 km long-distance trail is a real challenge for high-performance advanced skiers. This runs from Reichshof Hahn to the adjoining Belmicke wintersports district.
Each of the marked trails has something special to offer and all have wonderful, far-reaching views of the surrounding Oberbergisch region.
If you would like something a little more exciting, the two slopes with tow lifts, both approx. 200 metres long, in Blockhaus and Hahn are just what you are looking for.
At Blockhaus ski and toboggan hire, wintersports enthusiasts can hire sledges and ski equipment. There is also a ski school for downhill skiing beginners. Wintersports enthusiasts are also served drinks and delicious little treats at many of these stations.
