Where the people of Wuppertal once learned to swim

Where beer is brewed, celebrated and talked about today, the children of Barmen once learned to swim. In fact, the Kleine Flurstraße public swimming pool, which opened in 1882, was one of the oldest indoor pools in Germany. After the pool closed and following extensive renovation work, the Wuppertaler Brauhaus opened here in 1997 and now has a reputation that goes way beyond the city limits.
