Tourist attractions – various Park/gardens

The picturesque Heidefeld estate is located on the outskirts of Bocholt, only a few metres from the Dutch border. The estate, which was mainly used for agriculture for a long time, was built as a residential castle from 1811 to 1813. After an eventful history, the estate is now a popular destination for cyclists and garden lovers.

The heart of the estate is the café and the approx. 7,000 m² park. A circular path leads through the well-kept park with watercourses, sculptures and countless plants. The white building contrasts beautifully with the colourful park. The Heidefeld estate regularly provides the setting for atmospheric concerts.

Tour information
  • A tour of the park is possible during the café's opening hours.
  • Tickets for the park are also available at the café.
  • Paved paths also make it possible to visit the park with a wheelchair.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash.
