Numerous interesting and scenically particularly beautiful themed routes for cyclists run through the Münsterland region.
The following routes run in the immediate vicinity of Schloss Senden:
100 Castles Route, South Course

Dortmund-Ems Canal
The entrance to the 4,500 kilometre long and signposted Münsterland cycle path network is located directly in front of the castle complex.
Parking at Senden Castle
A large car park is available at the Senden Sports Park near the castle.
Arrival at Senden Castle
Senden Castle is located south of Münster, between Münster and Lüdinghausen.
Arrival by car:
Motorway A1, exit Münster-Hiltrup, via K4 to Senden.
Motorway A43, exit Senden, via B235 to Senden.
Arrival by train:
Rail route: Münster - Haltern am See, get off at Nottuln-Appelhülsen station: distance approx. 8 kilometres, journey time by bike approx. 25 minutes.
Distance from Münster railway station: approx. 20 kilometres, journey time by bike about one hour.
The nearest bus stop to the castle is "Senden (Westf.) Busbahnhof", which is regularly served by buses from Münster and Lüdinghausen, from there it is about a 15-minute walk.
