Parking at Harkotten Castle
There is a car park for visitors near the castle grounds.
Arrival
Arrival by car:
The Harkotten von Korff manor house is located in the eastern Münsterland region on the border with Lower Saxony. The double castle complex is located on the B475 federal road between Glandorf in Lower Saxony and Sassenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Coming from the north: Take the A1 motorway, exit Ladbergen. Continue in the direction of Warendorf on the B475 until you reach Schloss Harkotten. The castle is located in the direction of travel on the left immediately after the Lower Saxony border.
Coming from the south/Münster: Take the A1 or A43 to the Münster-Süd junction. Then continue on the B51 towards Telgte. From Telgte follow the B64 to Warendorf. There take the B475 towards Glandorf (via Sassenberg and Füchtorf). The castle is approx. 800 m after Füchtorf on the right-hand side of the road.
Arrival by bus/train:
Can be reached from Warendorf by bus R15.
