Information for cyclists
Numerous themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very specific contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about the Münsterland. The following themed route runs by the Vinnenberg monastery:
100 Castles Route, West Course
The entrance to the approximately 4,500 kilometre long Münsterland cycle path network is directly at the monastery. Popular destinations are Telgte, Sassenberg, Warendorf and nearby Harkotten Castle. A ride along the Bever River also invites cyclists to relax and explore the area.
Guided tour information
Guided tours of the pilgrimage church and the seminar house are offered all year round at Vinnenberg Monastery. The one-hour tours are led by the two nuns. Appointments can be made with the secretary's office by calling +49 (0)2584 919950. If you wish, the tour can also take you through the 30,000 square metre monastery garden, weather permitting.

Approach
By car: Vinnenberg Monastery is conveniently located about eleven kilometres from the district town of Warendorf between Warendorf-Milte and Glandorf. If you are driving with a navigation system, enter "Beverstrang 40" to arrive at the monastery.
Coming from the north, the nearest motorway is the Autobahn 1 with exit Lengerich. From here, follow the Südring through Lengerich to Warendorfer Straße (on the right). Continue on Hohner Straße and Schweger Straße, Hauptstraße, left onto B51, right into Sudendorfer Straße. The destination is on the right.
Coming from the south via motorway 2, take the Beckum exit and drive in the direction of Neubeckum and Ennigerloh via the B475 to Warendorf. Cross the town via Stadtstraße Nord and turn right into Milter Straße (L830). Continue on Hesselstraße, Schulstraße and turn right onto Vinnenberger Straße. Continue on K38 and after three kilometres the destination is on the left.
By train: From Münster main station you can reach the station in Warendorf every hour (RB 67 Der Warendorfer: Münster - Warendorf - Bielefeld). Warendorf station is 15 minutes by car from Vinnenberg Monastery. By bus (Regiobus R14) from Warendorf to Milte Kuhlage, then 18 minutes' walk to the monastery.

Own visitor parking spaces can be found directly at the monastery.

No registration required for the services.
The large, traditional pilgrimage services take place on Sundays in September at 11 am.
