Venue Cultural centre

The GBS cultural centre is a venue with a historical backdrop for a wide variety of events. Private festivities, shooting parties as well as cabaret evenings and concerts (with orchestras) take place in the former cotton mill. The building offers two rentable event spaces of different sizes: the larger Ballenlager (up to 600 people) and the smaller Kulturschmiede (up to a maximum of 150 people). Furthermore, the cultural centre has a usable inner courtyard. The entire complex has been renovated and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology - which, together with the charm of the industrial building, creates a unique atmosphere.

The GBS cultural centre is also home to the adult education centre, the music school, a youth café and Lebenshilfe, among others. In addition, the cultural initiative's events take place on the premises. Another part of the cultural centre is the Karderie, in which leisure-time educational and youth cultural workshops, seminars, courses, etc. are offered.
