Museum/Exhibition

The Münster City Museum has been providing its visitors with insights into the exciting urban history of the diocesan city since 1979. On site, a large display collection on the upper floor contains all kinds of historical and rare contemporary witnesses - in the form of books, objects and much more. Other special exhibition areas, some with changing themes, show Münster's art and cultural history, way of life and (industrial) development. In the foyer of the museum there is a large shop where visitors can purchase a wide range of exhibition catalogues, posters, books and products specially designed for the shop and the city.

Visit information
  • The exhibitions can be visited during opening hours.
  • Guided tours and children's birthday parties can be arranged on request.
