Museum/Exhibition

The museum, housed in a historic manufacturer's house in the old town centre of Coesfeld, displays a diverse collection of dolls and toys made from various materials such as papier-mâché, wax, wood, porcelain and celluloid, dating back to around 1800. In addition to dolls, the collection also includes wooden and tin toys as well as technical toys such as old steam engines. Historic doll's houses and merchants' shops provide an insight into everyday life in times gone by.
