The Agricultural Machinery Museum, an organisation of the Riesenbeck local history association, shows the development and diversity of machinery and technology from the earliest beginnings to the present day.

The museum is open except in January on the first Sunday of every month from 14 to 6 p.m., on every weekday Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and by appointment. by appointment. Please note current changes, which can be found in the calendar or under News on this website.

Guided tours (also in Low German) are possible outside the regular opening hours at an additional charge of 10 euros per 25 visitors.

Information for cyclists
Riesenbeck lies on the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest, which meander through the otherwise rather flat Münsterland. The small elevations offer breathtaking views of the Münsterland park landscape time and again on cycling tours through the surrounding area.

Everyone can find a suitable cycle route on the Münsterland cycle route network, which is around 4500 kilometres long. The entrance to the signposted cycle route network is in the street "Im Vogelsang" near the Dortmund-Ems Canal.

Follow the signs to Riesenbeck.
The Agricultural Machinery Museum is located at the Riesenbeck public meeting place.
Arrival by bus and train:
Rheine - Osnabrück railway line, get off at Hörstel or Ibbenbüren station.
Continue by bus to Riesenbeck.
Distance from Hörstel station: 6 kilometres, approx. 20 minutes by bike.
Distance from Ibbenbüren railway station: 8 kilometres, approx. 30 minutes by bike.

Free parking is available for guests at the museum.
