Information for cyclists
The local history museum is located directly on the signposted Münsterland cycling network. Sporty cyclists are drawn to the hilly surroundings of Tecklenburg and Ibbenbüren. The cycle tours around the Dortmund-Ems Canal, on the other hand, are almost ascent-free, and Münster is also easily reached by bike. The possibilities are manifold.
Various themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special features of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland.

Arrival
Arrival by car:
Motorway A1, exit Ladbergen.
Turn right and follow the B475 until the roundabout, third exit onto Tecklenburger Straße.
After approx. 400 metres, turn into Overbecker Weg and a short time later turn right into "Am Aabach". Follow the road until you reach the local history museum.
Arrival by bus and train:
Münster railway station, connections to regional and long-distance transport.
Bus line S50 in the direction of Münster-Osnabrück airport, change to bus line X15 to Ladbergen, Autohof stop.
Walk about 1.5 kilometres or 20 minutes.
Parking
Parking is available at the museum of local history.
