Information for cyclists
Rhede offers ideal conditions for cyclists: an idyllic park landscape, well-developed, flat cycle paths and the proximity to the Bocholter Aa invite you to enjoy relaxed tours. Historic farms, small watercourses and neighbouring towns such as Bocholt are easy to reach by bike.
Various signposted themed cycle paths offer interesting cycle tours through the Münsterland region.
The routes run just a few metres from the museum:

You can access the routes at junction 56, which is just 300 metres from the museum.
With over 4500 kilometres of junction network, even those unfamiliar with the area can easily navigate and find their way around the region's cycle paths and themed routes.

Guided tours are available by appointment (approx. 90 minutes) and cost 25 euros per group. Guided tours for school classes/kindergarten groups cost 15 euros.

Follow the A43 to the L611 in Dülmen, take exit 6-Dülmen on the A43
Take the L600 as far as the B67 in Reken
Take the B67 to Brünener Str. in Rhede, take the B67 exit in the direction of Rhede
Follow Brünener Str., from Münster- and Rudolf-Diesel-Straße to Auf d. Kirchwiese
Travelling by public transport:
From the main railway station in Münster (Westf.) take the S75 bus in the direction of Bocholt
Get off at the stop "Rhede, Ludgerusschule"
Approximately 8 minutes on foot to the museum (600m)
